The 2026 GolfForever Offseason Challenge

Every January, golfers set big goals: get stronger, add speed, play more pain-free golf.

And starting every February, most of those plans quietly fall apart. It’s not because the goals were wrong, but because the approach wasn’t sustainable.

The biggest mistake we see is treating fitness like a sprint instead of a system. Long-term improvement doesn’t come from intensity. It comes from structure and consistency.

Month 1 of Building The Habit

This is not the time to sprint — it’s the time to build your base. It’s common for golfers (especially those in their offseason) to jump into hard workouts too fast, then fall off. Instead, shift your focus to developing a routine where, at its foundation, is one you can stick with year-round.

What to prioritize:

  • Make it Measurable. Establish a minimum number of days you can exercise and the amount of time you can commit to exercise when you’re at your busiest. You can always do more, but now you’ll have a solid foundation for a routine you know you can do consistently and track.
  • Follow the plan. The GolfForever app creates a custom workout program for you. It removes decision fatigue so all you need to do is press Play and go!

Why it matters for golf:

When you play more consistently, you play better. The same goes for exercise and movement. The more consistent you are, the better you move and feel — AND the better you play. Long-term success comes from a workout plan that becomes part of your everyday routine.
